Note: This project did not move beyond exploratory talks. I preempted the conversation by exploring various interaction methods.
Objective
Cayton’s Children Museum was looking for a way to solicit funding from donors to build an interactive museum in a new location in Santa Monica. The impetus was to give donors an idea of what it would be like to explore the museum as a child; to once again feel the curiosity and excitement of discovering new sensations and to build their own story, sparking imagination and wonder.
User Journey
The user journey starts with the ability to explore a miniature version of the museum. As the user approaches the designated exhibit spaces, they highlight to indicate the ability to interact with them. The journey continues either through interaction as a dollhouse, or the ability to scale the room to full size to explore the proposed installation.
